Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ReframeUI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. ReframeUI is a SaaS platform designed for design system professionals — enabling teams to create, customize, and publish design systems including token layers and component libraries.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. If you are using ReframeUI on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. The Service

ReframeUI provides a design system customization platform that includes:

• Token layer — CSS variables, JSON, and JS/TS constants with a live hosted token endpoint.
• Component library — React, Vue, Angular, and Web Component implementations with versioned package publishing.
• Component customization — modify layout, slots, event handlers, state, and interaction logic.
• Branching & merging — preview branches that merge to the production endpoint.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

ReframeUI offers three tiers:

• Free — solo use, one editor seat, web export only. No credit card required.
• Team — $100/editor/month + $2.50/viewer/month. One production design system with unlimited preview branches.
• Multiple design systems — Team pricing plus $50/design system/month. Each additional design system is fully isolated with its own tokens and published package.

Annual discount — pay annually and receive approximately two months free: $1,000/editor/year, $25/viewer/year, $500 per design system per year.

Billing is monthly or annual, and subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. When adding or removing seats mid-cycle, charges are prorated to the next billing date. All prices are in USD, exclusive of applicable taxes.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for unused time within a billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform.
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission.
• Use automated scraping or data extraction beyond normal API usage as documented.
• Upload or publish content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

6. Intellectual Property

The design systems, tokens, and component configurations you create using ReframeUI are your intellectual property. ReframeUI retains all rights to the platform, its codebase, and associated tooling. You grant ReframeUI a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

ReframeUI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReframeUI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these terms, with notice where practical. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.

10. Changes to These Terms

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any material changes to these terms take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
